I grew up in the little town of Monona, Iowa which is about 3 hours straight north of Winfield. It is 20 minutes away from Wisconsin and about 40 minutes from Minnesota. I graduated in 2006 from MFL Mar Mac High School. I then attended Upper Iowa University majoring in K-12 Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Coaching. While at Upper Iowa I played football there. This is my first full-time teaching job. I spent 2 years substitute teaching in the Sumner, South Winneshiek, Oelwein, Dunkerton, and Valley school districts. I spent 4 years coaching basketball at Valley and 2 years coaching football at Oelwein. I am currently teaching both elementary and high school classes. Along with teaching I am the head boys basketball coach and track coach, I also am an assistant to the football team. I look forward to many more exciting years here at Winfield-Mt. Union!
